The First Conference of the Portuguese Society of the Slightest Invasive Surgery took place in the Portuguese city of Evora last 23rd of May, with an attendance of more than 350 Surgeons from Portugal and other European and American Countries, all of them specialist in Laparoscopic and Mini-invasive Surgical Techniques. It was awarded to Dr Miguel-A. Carbajo Caballero the Title of Honorary Fellow of it, whose Whole Text of the Own Diploma is the following:

Por toda a disponibilidade, empenho e apoio incondicional desde a primeira hora dados à SOCIEDADE PORTUGUESA DA CIRURGIA MINIMAMENTE INVASIVA ( S.P.C.M.I.N. ), e às suas causas e objectivos, esta Direcçao decidíu que: O SR. PROF. MIGUEL CARBAJO, passará a ser considerado SÓCIO HONORARIO da Sociedade Portuguesa de Cirurgía Minimamente Invasiva, com todas as prerrogativas que tal designaçao encerra.
